Several researchers from the University Of Manchester, United Kingdom have finally came to the conclusion that cancer is one hundred percent a modern man made disease. Yes, A man made disease.
Did you know that in the United Kingdom alone literally over 150,000 people die from cancer each year? This means at least one in every three people will be diagnosed with cancer. These odds don’t sound good at all.
These researchers spent their time studying things like mummies, classical literature, and fossils. While this may seem strange it is very important. According to their research tumors themselves were rare until recent times. That meaning tumors most likely came about when pollution and poor diet became a big issue. These researchers studied tissue from many Egyptian mummies and found no sign of cancer in any of them except one that is most likely dismissive.
Some scientists try to argue that the Egyptians did not exist long enough to develop things like cancer but the researchers were able to overshadow this by making the point that other age related diseases had been found. Some have stated that fossil evidence of cancer is not solid evidence of it’s existence as is. Literature itself has not provided many examples of cancer, the ones it has are widely disputed and found in mostly animals. Many texts from ancient Egypt were actually filled with issues that seemed cancer-like but they were all found to be something more like leprosy or varicose veins.
Greeks were actually the first to define cancer as a disease.
The Greeks were most likely the first to define cancer as a disease itself. They were the first as well as far as we know to distinguish the difference between a benign tumor and a malignant one. The earliest reports of distinctive tumors are from the past two thousand years, and only in the seventeenth century were there recorded descriptions of operations for breast and many other cancers. If you really think about it the lack of health care back in times before then there should be lots of evidence of cancer but there is not.
Cancer is something that appears to be clearly man made and I am even more convinced after learning all of this. What do you think? Please watch the video below for more information.
